Yeah, you read that right! Metal Gear Solid V! Originally, MGS V: Ground Zeroes, was supposed to be released alongside its counterpart Phantom Pain. Due to some development issues that were taking much longer than expected, director Hideo Kojima wanted to give us a little sneak peak prior to the September release date. Because Kojima decided to take a new route with his story telling, he felt it would be best to let players get an idea of how the new gameplay will be. He says that "the advanced capabilities of the FOX Engine have allowed me to tell the new story in a new way," and that "there will be a significant difference in what The Phantom Pain brings to the series, so we want to ease players into the new open world environment and its potential."
I think that PlayStation is making some really smart moves by giving us all these free games, especially MGS, considering that the game has such an enormous fan base. Below you can find a video showing off all the games that you'll be able to find on PlayStation Plus starting Tuesday, June 2nd. Happy gaming, everyone!
