Batman: Arkham Knight’s Epic Conclusion

The Dark Knight once again races against the clock to stop new evils that threaten Gotham City in the final chapter of the Arkham series. In Batman: Arkham Knight, Scarecrow takes siege of the city with the help of a mysterious new character known as the Arkham Knight. Scarecrow employs the aid of Batman’s most notorious villains including Two-Face, Penguin, and Harley Quinn to end Batman once and for all.

Batman: Arkham Knight returns with some of its celebrated gameplay used throughout the series, as well as new features not seen in previous titles. Players are now able to drive the Batmobile allowing Batman to maneuver through the city in an armored car strapped with military-grade weaponry. Also, new to the game is Dual Play mode where players have the ability to switch between two characters during combat. Similar to the combat style noted in Grand Theft Auto V, players can use Batman to enact a combo while swapping to another character.

Batman is able to complete the combo as the player maintains control of the current on-screen character. The player can even enact a super combo or tag team with others against thugs. During dual play, players are able to choose between Nightwing, Catwoman, or Robin to fight alongside the cape crusader. The number of enemies has increased as both Batman and his teammate take down twice the amount of bad guys. Batman: Arkham Knight, rated M for mature, will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on June 23, 2015.
